Privacy Policy

Sled Pace · Last updated: 15 October 2026

Sled Pace is a race pacer for hybrid fitness racing on iPhone, Apple Watch, Android and Wear OS. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. The short version: your workouts and health data stay on your devices. There is no account, no tracking, no ads and no analytics.

Who is responsible

Sled Pace is made by Filipe Santos, an independent developer in Portugal. Contact: sledpace@gmail.com.

Data the app stores on your devices

Data Where it is stored Why
Your goal time and your custom workouts On your phone, and a copy on your paired watch To build your target splits
Your sessions: date, workout, and the time of each segment On your phone. The watch keeps the last session To show results, your best, and your history
A session in progress On the device that runs it So a session survives an app restart

This data is never sent to the developer or to any server. It moves only between your own phone and your own watch, through Apple’s Watch Connectivity on Apple devices, or the Wearable Data Layer of Google Play services on Android devices.

Health data

On Apple Watch, with your permission, Sled Pace uses Apple HealthKit during a session to:

On Wear OS, with your permission, Sled Pace uses Health Services during a session to read your heart rate and show it on the watch.

Health data is used only to show it to you during a session and, on Apple Watch, to save your workout to Apple Health. It is never used for advertising, never sold, never shared with third parties, and never sent to the developer. You can turn off access at any time in the Health app on iPhone, or in the app permissions on Android and Wear OS. The timer keeps working without it.

Purchases

Sled Pace is free to download, and Sled Pace Pro is an optional in-app purchase. Payments are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). The developer never sees your name, email address, or payment details.

To check whether you own Pro on all your devices, the app uses RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives a random identifier made by the app, your purchase records from Apple or Google, and basic technical data such as the app version, the operating system, and your country or region. It does not receive your workouts or your health data.

What the app does not do

Deleting your data

Delete the app from your phone and your watch. That removes all workouts and sessions. Workouts already saved to Apple Health stay in Apple Health until you delete them there. Purchase records stay with Apple, Google and RevenueCat as their own policies require.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to complain to a data protection authority. In Portugal, that is the CNPD. Because the developer holds no data about you, most requests can be met by deleting the app. For anything else, write to sledpace@gmail.com.

Children

Sled Pace is not directed to children under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be on this page with a new date. Important changes will also be mentioned in the app’s release notes.
